Rock outfit Puddle Of Mudd will return in late July with its first studio album in four years, “Living on Borrowed Time.” The Geffen set will be led by the single “Famous,” which hits rock radio outlets this week.
Since wrapping the tour in support of 2003’s “Life on Display,” the band has kept a low profile. Puddle Of Mudd has also acquired two new members, guitarist Christian Stone and drummer Ryan Yerdon.
“It’s about passion and writing music that connects with other people and somehow heals them. I really want to try to crawl under peoples’ skin and at the same time make some kick-ass rock’n’roll music,” frontman Wesley Scantlin says of the new album, which was produced by the Descendents’ Bill Stevenson.
Puddle Of Mudd will be on the road through late July, playing a combination of headlining dates and support slots for the Breaking Benjamin/Three Days Grace tour and a Canadian run with Nickelback.
