Justin Timberlake’s “My Love” featuring T.I. notches a third week atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The cut also leads the Pop 100 for the same span but ends its three-week run on Hot Digital Songs, swapping positions with Fergie’s “Fergalicious,” which rises 3-1.
On the Hot 100, the Fergie track and Akon’s “Smack That” featuring Eminem hold at No. 3 and No. 2, respectively, while Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” ascends 9-4 and is the chart’s greatest airplay gainer.
Hinder’s “Lips of An Angel” warms the No. 5 spot and Ludacris’ “Money Maker” featuring Pharrell drops 4-6. The Fray’s “How To Save a Life” falls 6-7 as Jay-Z’s “Show Me What You Got” rockets 47-8 after raking in its first week of digital sales.
Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars” dips 8-9 and Timberlake’s “SexyBack” slides 7-10 to round out the top tier.
Ciara’s “Promise” earns the Hot 100’s top debut at No. 45 — the artist’s highest bow on that chart.
Also new are the Pussycat Dolls’ “Wait a Minute” featuring Timbaland (No. 77), Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right” (No. 93), Lloyd’s “You” featuring Lil’ Wayne (No. 94), Bowling For Soup’s “High School Never Ends” (No. 97) and Alejandro Sanz’ “A La Primera Persona” (No. 100).
The latter track leaps 7-1 on Hot Latin Songs, ending the two-week run of David Bisbal’s “Quien Me Iba A Decir,” which falls to No. 3.
Chris Brown’s “Say Goodbye” fronts Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a fourth straight week and Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” leads Hot Country Songs for a third.
On Adult Contemporary, Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” reclaims the pole position, rising 2-1 and trading spots once again with Rascal Flatts’ “What Hurts the Most.” Koji Kondo’s “Super Mario Brothers Theme” rules Hot Ringtones for a second straight week.
The Mainstream Rock chart sees Tool’s “The Pot” seizing the top spot from Disturbed’s “Land of Confusion,” which drops to No. 2 after three weeks, while My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome to the Black Parade” rules Modern Rock for a fourth frame.
