The cut also holds atop the Pop 100 and Hot Digital Songs charts for the same span, while Timberlake’s former chart-topper “SexyBack” descends 5-7 on the Hot 100.
Akon’s “Smack That” featuring Eminem warms the Hot 100’s No. 2 spot, while Fergie’s “Fergalicious” leaps 6-3 and is the chart’s greatest sales gainer. That track is the singer’s third straight top three single, following “London Bridge” and the Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps.”
Elsewhere on the Hot 100, Ludacris’ “Money Maker” featuring Pharrell drops 3-4, Hinder’s “Lips of An Angel” falls 4-5 and the Fray’s “How To Save a Life” ascends 7-6.
Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars” holds at No. 8 while Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” rockets 24-9 and is the chart’s greatest airplay gainer. Another new single by the artist, “Upgrade U” featuring Jay-Z, enters the chart at No. 92.
Chris Brown’s “Say Goodbye” rounds out the Hot 100 top tier at No. 10 and leads Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a third week.
With “Wind It Up” bowing at No. 40 on the Hot 100, Gwen Stefani earns her highest single debut on that chart, both alone and as a member of No Doubt.
Also new to the tally are Fat Joe’s “Make It Rain” featuring Lil Wayne (No. 55), Plain White T’s’ “Hate (I Really Don’t Like You)” (No. 83), George Strait’s “It Just Comes Natural” (No. 86), Rodney Atkins’ “Watching You (No. 90), Chingy’s “Dem Jeans” featuring Jermaine Dupri (No. 93), Ruben Studdard’s “Change Me” (No. 94), Toby Keith’s “Crash Here Tonight” (No. 96), Hellogoodbye’s “Here (In Your Arms)” (No. 97), Kellie Pickler’s “Red High Heels” (No. 99) and Toby Love’s “Tengo Un Amor” featuring Rakim & Ken-Y (No. 100).
Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” fronts the Hot Country Songs chart for a second week while Rascal Flatts’ “What Hurts The Most” rises 3-1 on Adult Contemporary, ending the three week-run of Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten,” which falls to No. 2.
Koji Kondo’s “Super Mario Brothers Theme” rises one rung to reclaim the pole position on Hot Ringtones, where John Carpenter’s “Halloween” falls to No. 2 after four weeks. David Bisbal’s “Quien Me Iba A Decir” leads Hot Latin Songs for a second week.
Disturbed’s “Land of Confusion” and My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome to the Black Parade” notch a third week atop the Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock tallies, respectively.
