As first tipped here in August, Justin Timberlake will tour “in the round” in North American arenas next year, beginning Jan. 8 in San Diego. The 11-week trek, with support from Pink, will be followed by upwards of 60 additional dates around the world. Timberlake will be backed on the road by a 14-piece band.
The artist will be out in support of his new Jive album “FutureSex/LoveSounds,” which has already sold 1.2 million copies since its Sept. 12 release. The single “SexyBack” has spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while second single “My Love” featuring T.I. is at No. 13 in just five weeks.
As for Pink, she in the midst of an extensive European outing that hits Frankfurt tomorrow (Oct. 18) and runs through Dec. 21 in Milan.
