Tigerlily’s EDM career has got off to roaring start. The young artist’s international profile is on the rise, she’s earned respect from the likes of Tiesto and she’s been the focus of much hero-worship from the floors of clubland and festival fields of her homeland Australia.
Her growing fanbase (she has more than 670,000 followers across her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts) have voted Tigerlily as the Top Female DJ Down Under (via InTheMix) for three successive years, and she’d rated in the Top 5 overall for both 2014 and 2015.
The Sydney-born artist (real name Dara Hays) released a new single “Paradise” on July 31, the first through a new deal struck with Island Records Australia,
Today, Billboard can exclusively share the video for “Paradise,” which features the vocals of singer-songwriter Meghan Kabir, out of Nashville, Tennessee.
The aqua-haired artist has just finished a run of shows in Canada including the Chasing Summer music festival. Tigerlily is currently in the U.S. and she’s slated to play dates in Las Vegas this weekend, at Wet Republic and at Hakkasan, where she’ll support Tiesto (the superstar Dutch also selected the newcomer as support for his Club Life tour of Asia).
“Paradise” is available globally via Universal Music. Reps for the artist say there are no firm plans for an album release just yet, though expect a series of single releases to drop over the coming months. Watch the clip below.
