Tiffany Young has remade her song “Runaway” from her Lips on Lips EP, which was released in February. The pop star, who got her start in the K-pop world as a member of Girls’ Generation, released a video for the Korean remix of the originally English song today (May 31).
The remix of “Runaway” features both English and Korean lyrics, the latter of which were written by fellow Girls’ Generation member Choi Sooyoung. Like the original, the new version features the voice of Babyface, who co-wrote the song, but adds piano accompaniment from Chloe Flower, who rose to prominence after performing with Cardi B at the Grammys earlier this year.
The music video features Young performing alongside Flower, and intersperses scenes of the pair with ones of Young appearing like a starlet of yesteryear, taking to the sky in a hot air balloon and dreamily posing in throwback looks.
