Fine Jewelry purveyor Tiffany & Co. just released their fall 2017 advertising campaign, “There’s Only One,” a celebration of personal style and individuality by bringing together six figures from the music, arts, and modeling spheres, each photographed by fashion visionaries Inez & Vinoodh.
First up is singer-actress Janelle Monáe, the only artist snapped in black and white–perhaps an ode to her signature fashion color palette–who is sporting a “Return to Tiffany” classic heart pendant and stacks of Tiffany HardWear rings. Monáe, who previously wore diamond earrings and rings from the 180-year-old house to the Met Gala, firmly cemented her place as a serious actress in Hollywood thanks to her roles in the Oscar-nominated films Hidden Figures and Moonlight.
The second artist showcased is Zoë Kravitz, daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, who has carved a niche for herself in entertainment as the lead singer of electronic and R&B duo Lolawolf, as well as acting roles in Mad Max: Fury Road, Divergent, and X-Men: First Class. Her blonde pixie cut and earthy-toned makeup keep the focus on celebrating her sophisticated yet edgy interpretation of rocking the latest Tiffany HardWear designs and Return to Tiffany pendant necklace.
The third artist tapped by Tiffany’s is Billboard September Style Issue cover star Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent. Clark, who has become a Bowie-esque trendsetter and recently released her latest single “New York” last month, is wearing five layered diamond necklaces from the brand’s Tiffany Victoria collection.
Rounding out the campaign is actress Elle Fanning (sister of Dakota and stars alongside Nicole Kidman in The Beguiled), top model, activist, and Columbia graduate Cameron Russell, and David Hallberg, a principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet and America Ballet Theater.
“Tiffany has always stood for the ideals of creativity, passion, and optimism,” says Reed Krakoff, the chief artistic officer of Tiffany & Co. “These portraits epitomize individuality, embracing the natural beauty and unique style of each talent.” This campaign marks Krakoff’s–a three-time CFDA Award winner–first foray as a recently appointed creative executive of the house, where he also oversees the brand’s jewelry and accessories design and has a hand in the marketing, advertising, e-commerce and store design.
