Sonic Youth co-founder Thurston Moore and Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders have collaborated on a recording, “Feel It In Your Guts.”
The twelve-string acoustic track was composed by Moore, arranged and mixed by Mike Bridavsky and contains excerpts from Sanders’ speeches, in which he drills down into economic inequality, social justice, human rights and the worship of money.

Joyful Noise Recordings will issue 1,000 hand-numbered copies on square, white vinyl, with screenprinted cover art by David Kloc. Sanders’ camp was supportive of the campaign, according to the music company.
Copies will be distributed for free to people who make donations to Sanders’ campaign. “Dig deep. Feel it in your guts,” the label urges music fans. The track is also available as a free digital download.
