My Chemical Romance are gearing up for their sold-out reunion show in Los Angeles on Dec. 20, and Thursday will be joining the fun as the event’s supporting band.
“One thing that we never could have planned for was the reunion of our closest friends, My Chemical Romance,” the group wrote in their Instagram announcement on Friday (Nov. 8). “It was a sincere but welcomed shock when they told us their plans and asked if we wouldn’t join them.”
“Well, we never thought we’d get a chance to say this, ever again, but here it goes: We are honored to announce we will be supporting @mychemicalromance , at the Shrine Auditorium, in Los Angeles, California, on December 20, 2019. See you there.”
MCR mirrored the positivity, writing on Twitter, “We are crazy excited to have our dear friends @thursdayband as a special guest at the Shrine show.”
As previously mentioned, the LA show was sold out in minutes, so if you didn’t get a chance to grab tickets, the band will also be heading to Australia and New Zealand in the spring.
