Thom Yorke’s new solo album Anima has arrived in digital form.
Written by Yorke and produced by long-time Radiohead collaborator Nigel Godrich, the nine-track set is available to stream and download. The physical releases drop on Friday, July 19, including a deluxe 180g “heavyweight” orange double vinyl which will contain a 40-page book of lyrics, and pencil drawings by Stanley Donwood and Dr Tchock
Also, Yorke is prepping what a statement describes as a “one-reeler,” also called Anima, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and due out on Netflix on Thursday (June 27). The video features a score made up of three tracks from the album.
Anima is the followup to Yorke’s soundtrack to the 2018 horror flick Suspiria, inspired by the ‘70s classic of the same name by Dario Argento.
