The Top 13 were announced Tuesday night on NBC’s The Voice, with the top two vote-getters from each team automatically advancing. Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson then got to each choose one artist from their teams to advance. The last slot was decided by an Instant Save vote between the top two singers from this season’s online series The Comeback Stage.
The first artists to advance were Team Blake’s Kirk Jay and Chris Kroeze. Shelton then chose Dane Foley to round out Team Blake’s presence in the Top 13.
After a performance by country singer Kane Brown, results for Team Adam came in. America voted to save DeAndre Nico and Reagan Strange. Levine then chose Tyke James for his save.
The artists from The Comeback Stage competing for the Instant Save, Ayanna Joni and Lynnea Moore, were then introduced. Joni sang first, performing “No Tears Left to Cry” by Ariana Grande. She blended genres and showed a lot of versatility, commanding the stage with confidence.
Moore went next, singing “Boo’d Up” by Ella Mai. She also put on a fun performance, matching solid vocals with captivating stage presence. And after the live vote, Moore advanced. She picked Clarkson as her coach.
Team Jennifer’s results followed: MacKenzie Thomas and Kennedy Holmes automatically advanced, and Hudson chose SandyRedd to join them.
After Backstreet Boys performed, Team Kelly took the stage for the last of the results. America voted to save Sarah Grace and Chevel Shepherd. Clarkson then chose Kymberli Joe as the final member of the Top 13.
Eliminated artists on Tuesday night included Michael Lee, Funsho, Nastasia Greycloud, Kameron Marlowe, Steve Memmolo, RADHA, Colton Smith, Patrique Fortson, Franc West, Zaxai, Keith Paluso and Abby Cates.
The Voice continues next week on NBC.
