You never know what to expect during the blind auditions of The Voice, and contestant Denton Arnell had a surprise up his sleeve during his chance at joining the show.
He delivered a performance of Drake’s “Hold On We’re Going Home,” catching the attention of judge John Legend. “Is it okay if I share this moment with my girlfriend?” the Chicago native asked his new coach Legend before bringing his girlfriend of three years to the stage.
“So being that you gave me a yes, I wanted to see if Tiffany can give me a yes,” Arnell continued, getting down on one knee and accidentally bumping heads with his soon-to-be-fiancee on the way. Tiffany gave a tearful “yes,” and Arnell left with a fiancee and a ticket to the next round of The Voice.
