G-L-O-R-I-A.
Anyone that has ever picked up a guitar or played in a band knows the legendary band the Shadows of Knight. We are thrilled to be sharing a stage with them and the Charms, a fantastic band out of Boston. Last night, the Paybacks joined the tour and kicked ass! They will be with us for the next 5 shows.
At the show in San Francisco, Cyril Jordan, from Magic Christian and Flaming Groovies jumped on stage to play a few songs with us. It was definitely a highlight for the Romantics and fans! During travel time, we entertained ourselves on the bus and made up rude English pub names to pass the time, all the while eating Twilla’s delicious chocolate chip cookies with milk.
Tonight we are at the Double Door in Chicago. The Garage Girls a Go Go start the show immediately followed by The Goldstars. This starts off a rocking line up that includes The Charms, The Paybacks, us & The Shadows of Knight. Then back on the bus at 4 am heading to St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit. We look forward to sharing our deli trays with fellow Detroiters.
After a week on the road, we are all finding our groove and looking forward to hearing more exciting regional bands
