The Prodigy has shared the video for “Wild Frontier,” a new track from the British electronic punks’ forthcoming album release The Day Is My Enemy.
The gory clip is a new take on the classic “hunter becomes the hunted” storyline, this time playing out with stop motion animated puppets in a hand-crafted forest. If it all sounds a bit daft, you’re only half right. The clip, created by Dutch director and producer Mascha Halberstad and animator Elmer Kaan, is more horror-story than bedtime read. Remember, this is the band behind the videos for “Smack Your Bitch Up” and “Baby’s Got a Temper”.

The veteran act’s sixth studio album is the follow-up to 2009’s Invaders Must Die, which topped the Official U.K. Albums Chart. The Day Is My Enemy, due March 30, is the first release through Three Six Zero Music, a label launched through a deal with Warner Bros. Records. “Wild Frontier” is the third song released from the new album, following “Nasty” and the title track.
The Prodigy is currently touring Australia on the Future Music Festival trek. A European run will start April 10 at Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.
