Laundry must be stacking up on the Postal Service tour: the band’s having nightmares about it.
The duo’s new video for “A Tattered Line of String” chronicles a bad trip to the laundromat, where the spin cycle grows to include the room and everything in it.
The offbeat video for the new track, one of two previously unreleased efforts on the Postal Service’s “Give Up” reissue, was released on Tuesday and directed by French collective AB/CD/CD.
The band’s 10th anniversary tour continues through August, with dates remaining from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles and a stop at Lollapalooza on Aug. 3. The band makes its long-awaited television debut on Wednesday with a performance on “The Colbert Report.”
