The National is coming to Studio 8H.
The indie rock act will make its “Saturday Night Live” debut next month, Radio.com reports. The band will support “Girls” actress Lena Dunham, who will also make her debut as host.
The Brooklyn-via-Cincinnati band is still riding the waves of critical acclaim after its May 2013 release, “Trouble Will Find Me.” The group’s sixth studio album hit No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and scored a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album at the GRAMMYs last month.
It’ll be the second show of the month for “SNL,” following the Jim Parsons-Beck episode this weekend (March 1).
Lena Dunham and the National’s “SNL” episode will air March 8 at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
