TRASH PICK IT UP! Not just a title of the famous NY Dolls song, but also this week’s theme of Little Steven’s Underground Garage tour. Picking up after yourself on the tour bus is a wonderful thing. Twilla aka Twelvis, our Garage girl a gogo wrangler part Snow White part Cruella Deville had to whip us girls into shape.
It’s hard to take her serious when she is wearing a chia pet, “Elvis wig” on her head when she is not busy holding back the crowds providing gogo girl security. Twilla says, “Remember when your are traveling down the highway in small quarters with 12 free spirited artists and crew, picking up your trash is next to Godliness.” TRASH! PICK IT UP!
Now let’s talk tour. Let’s just say Irving Plaza, Philly and Washington, DC will never be the same as we continue to kick butt with our rocking line up of The Charms, The Chesterfield Kings, The Supersuckers and the NY Dolls! Flying guitars, scaffolding climbing lead singers, exploding balloons and boomeranging drumstick and I don’t mean chicken all leading up to 6 long legs bringing back gogo dancing like you have never seen!!! Coming to change a city near you!!! Watch out! Remember, Trash, Pick it up!!!!
