Don’t you wish you had a denim jacket covered in song titles from The Chainsmokers with elaborate rose patches? If you do, you’ve got a matter of days to book a flight and/or prepare yourself for the incoming Memories pop-up store landing in New York City from Thursday through Sunday.
The store, themed around the duo’s smash debut LP Memories: Do Not Open, will offer new merchandise as well as the aforementioned one-of-a-kind denim jackets, designed by Lauren Kessler, Design Director for The Chainsmokers. There are only 100 of them in the world, each given a serial number and crafted using recycled bits of old Chainsmokers merch. Those lyrics were handwritten by the guys, so consider standing in line now.
From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, fans can be expected to swarm 205 Bleecker St., and you can be one of the lucky ones. Billboard Dance has it on good authority that The Chainsmokers’ Alex Pall and Drew Taggart will make an appearance at the pop-up, though we can’t say with certainty when. Guess you’ll just have to camp out forever until they show up. Happy hunting!
