The Bloody Beetroots go into stadium rock mode on “Out of Sight,” a track from the electro act’s upcoming “HIDE.” To match his heavyweight sounds — which include electric guitar, drums and a children’s choir alongside knob-warped electronics — the musician scored a lead vocal from Paul McCartney. The former Beatle channels his “Helter Skelter” days to rip into the chorus hook: “Nothing much, just out of sight.”
McCartney appears in the video via video screens as Beetroots main man Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo subjects his instruments to a full workout and possible flame damage, with Youth joining the jam session.
The Bloody Beetroots’ “HIDE,” their second studio album, is due on Ultra Records on Sept. 17.
