The Beatles are continuing their digital run at iTunes, now providing digital copies of the “Love” Cirque du Soleil album and the making-of documentary available for pre-sale.
This is the first time that the compilation has been made available digitally.
But contrary to published reports, this won’t be fully exclusive to iTunes. While at MIDEM last week, Billboard learned of another extension of the Love catalog into the mobile space likely to be announced in the week ahead. The information was shared on background with the agreement that we wouldn’t post any details.
The “Love” album on iTunes is available for $13, and will be available for download Feb. 8. It includes two bonus tracks. The documentary “All Together Now” will cost $10.
iTunes has sold more than 5 million Beatles songs since the catalog made its digital debut last November.
