Latin star Thalia will be headed out on her first U.S. headlining tour in May, Billboard.biz has learned.
Vivelo!, the joint venture between Clear Channel Entertainment and Televisa, will promote all nine dates of the road trip. Shows begin May 4 at the Beacon Theater in New York and wrap May 16 at the Center for the Performing Arts in San Jose, Calif.
Details for the tour are expected to be announced tomorrow (March 23).
Thalia is heading out in support of her “Greatest Hits” set, released earlier this year on EMI. The album is currently No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Latin Album chart.
