With the doors to all of our favorite nightclubs locked and our festivals of choice either canceled or postponed, the living room has become our venue of choice during quarantine. Busting moves around the coffee table isn’t quite the same as getting down on a packed dance floor, but if you shut the blinds, dim the lights and turn the music up loud enough, it can still be a fun and fairly cathartic experience.
The good news is that there’s still loads of new music coming out to fuel these dance sessions for one. German producer Tensnake has done us a solid by aggregating a bunch of this fresh heat into an hour long mix made exclusively for Billboard Dance. The assemblage launches with Tensnake’s latest track, the sexy, slinky, ’80s inspired and entirely infectious “Automatic,” which is quickly becoming one of our favorites new singles of the spring. The single comes from Tensnake’s forthcoming sophomore album LA, dropping this August via Armada.
“Automatic” is followed by tunes from Disclosure, Slim Steve, Pagano, Calvin Harris‘ Love Regenerator alias and many more underground house-oriented artists. Stream the full mix below.
“This mix features some of my favorite tracks I’ve received while being under quarantine,” the producer tells Billboard Dance. “It is also something I would like to dance to when this is all over. Stay safe everyone!”
