
Six-member K-pop boy band Teen Top debuted new single “Rocking” from their “Teen Top Class” EP at KCON 2013 in August and has impressed international fans for its button-pushing performance that incorporates shuffling, jerking and more jerking. The track peaked at No. 10 on the K-Pop Hot 100 and is currently still in the Top 40 after over a month on the chart.
Three years ago, Teen Top debuted with the “Come Into the World” mini-album and snagged Top 10 hits like “Going Crazy,” “To You” and “Be Ma Girl”; earning a dedicated legion of domestic and international fans with a fanclub known as “Angel.” This year, the boys released their first full-length album, “No. 1,” with its lead single “Miss Right” landing the sextet their highest-charting K-Pop Hot 100 entry yet.
Teen Top — made up of members Cap, 20, Niel, 19, Cheonji, 19, L.Joe, 19, Ricky, 18, Changjo, 17 — has seen their popularity steadily growing in countries including Germany, Britain, France, Spain, Japan and the States. Prior to an exclusive concert in Taiwan, the group sat down with Billboard for an exclusive interview to introduce their latest release, reveal their future promotional goals and who they would want to collaborate with in the U.S.
