
When President Obama was elected to a second term on Tuesday night (Nov. 6), a slew of music stars, from Lady Gaga to Snoop Dogg to Cher, tweeted their support for America’s choice. Ted Nugent was not one of those music stars.
The extremely conservation Detroit rocker voiced his dismay over Republican Mitt Romney’s defeat on Twitter on early Wednesday (Nov. 6), with a string of brash proclamations about the state of America. Here are the Twitter posts, in order:

Even Karl Rove probably would have slowed his roll before calling the election results “economic and spiritual suicide.”
Last April, Nugent spoke at a National Rifle Association meeting in St. Louis and said of the Obama administration, “We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November.” He later clarified that he was speaking metaphorically.
