Upon its August release, “Shake It Off” trumpeted Swift’s new sonic direction, and pop fans responded with tremendous enthusiasm, as the song debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart. Since then, the haters-gonna-hate anthem has dominated Top 40 radio, and was performed by the singing sensation at the MTV Video Music Awards and the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Meanwhile, “Out Of The Woods” was produced by fun. guitarist/Bleachers mastermind Jack Antonoff, and carries the same emotional 80’s vibe as his latter project. The brand-new song has been hailed by the blogosphere as another winner for Swift, and should debut on next week’s Hot 100 chart.
