Like the rest of us, Taylor Swift was impressed and proud of Ariana Grande after the singer released a long statement calling out the media for sexist double standards with respect to what kind of stuff she’s asked about in interviews, all while educating some of her younger fans at the same time.
@ArianaGrande I’m so proud of you, always. But especially today. “She will need her sisterhood.”

“What I meant when I said what I said about not being Sean’s ex is that I am tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man’s past, present, or future PROPERTY/POSSESSION,” Grande wrote in the essay, which she posted Sunday (June 7) on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. “I… do not. belong. to anyone. but myself. and neither do you.”
