Taylor Swift turned the City of Love into the “City of Lover” on Monday night (Sept. 9), playing three of her recent album’s tracks for the first time ever live at Paris’ L’Olympia Bruno Coquatrix.
She performed live debuts of “Death By A Thousand Cuts,” “Cornelia Street” and the feminist anthem “The Man,” as well as smash hit “You Need To Calm Down,” “The Archer” and the album’s title track.
“It’s like a song is my photograph, so I can go back and remember what it was like to experience it,” she told the crowd before diving into the heart melting “Cornelia Street,” rumored to be about the NYC apartment she rented in 2016 around the same time she met current boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
Tickets for the “City of Lover” concert were not for sale, but were won through contests worldwide.
