If you watched the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show, you were dazzled by Coldplay‘s colorful set featuring Bruno Mars, Beyonce and Mark Ronson. If you are Taraji P. Henson, you weren’t dazzled by Coldplay, though — you were floored by Maroon 5‘s halftime show.
Coldplay Brings Out Beyonce, Bruno Mars for Super Bowl 50 Set
No, you didn’t miss a surprise appearance by Adam Levine and co. — the Empire actress seems to have mistaken one soft rock band for another during Super Bowl 50, tweeting about Coldplay but referring to them as Maroon 5 in a since-deleted tweet that declared, “Maroon 5 is life to me! #SuperBowl50 #HappyCamper.”
Apparently Henson loves Maroon 5, just isn’t 100 percent sure what they look like. After Twitter users pointed out the mistake, she responded with a lengthy, laughing “oops.”
Oooooooopppps. Lmao! #Superbowl50

Update: Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Henson blamed the gaffe on having “drank the Kool-Aid,” adding, “I’m human. I made a mistake. It happens!”
