2017 is shaping up to be a landmark year for TAEMIN. The singer-songwriter-dancer began the year with his band SHINee on their world tour that brought the group stateside for their first-ever North American tour. On his own, the 24-year-old released a full-length Japanese album Flame of Love in July, followed up by his acting debut in Amazon’s Japanese drama Final Life – Even If You Disappear Tomorrow, all leading up to the release of his latest solo K-pop album.
Following the success of 2016’s Press It — that included the Bruno Mars-written lead single “Press Your Number” — TAEMIN’s latest release Move makes a splash on the Billboard charts this week, starting at No. 3 on Billboard‘s World Albums chart with the title track debuting at No. 4 on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
Billboard caught up with the performer before his OFF-SICK<on track> concert in Seoul to discuss his artistry via an Anagram Interview and get his thoughts on some of his fans by reading through YouTube comments. Watch below:
