Prior to this year’s game, the only Latin performers to ever take the stage during football’s biggest night are Gloria Estefan in 1992 and 1999 and as part of Miami Sound Machine in 1995 and Enrique Iglesias with other artists in 2000.
“Ever since I saw Diana Ross fly off into the sky at the Halftime Show, I dreamed of performing at the Super Bowl,” Lopez said in a statement about the upcoming performance. “And now it’s made even more special not only because it’s the NFL’s 100th anniversary, but also because I am performing with a fellow Latina. I can’t wait to show what us girls can do on the world’s biggest stage.”
While Sunday’s (Feb. 2) game takes place at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, you don’t need to head down to the 305 to watch all the action. Kick-off is at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox, but for those looking to watch online, the game can be streamed through Fox Sports here when you log in with your TV provider.
The show can also be streamed through the NFL app or with a subscription/free trial with fuboTV.
