
The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos squared off today (Feb. 7) in Super Bowl 50. Cam Newton and Peyton Manning dueled on the field. Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Coldplay and many others performed. The commercials were often absurd. Unsurprisingly, the game produced plenty of online humor.

A lot of viewers were weirded out by this Doritos commercial, which aired early in the game. It starred a baby that loved Doritos so much it shot out of its mother’s womb to get some. Yeah….

When the halftime show began, actress/singer Taraji P. Henson said (in a since-deleted tweet, screengrabbed below) how excited she was to see Maroon 5. Only it was Coldplay onstage. The Internet let her have it and she apparently acknowledged her error.
