From Demi Lovato‘s cloud-grazing rendition of the National Anthem, to the many fire emojis that flooded the internet following Jennifer Lopez and Shakira‘s incredible halftime show, and onward to the Kansas City Chiefs’ win, one thing’s for sure: artists were extremely invested in tweeting their feelings and joy throughout Super Bowl 54.
After gospel queen Yolanda Adams‘ delivered a stirring rendition of “America the Beautiful,” Lovato — who was moved to tears during her performance at the 2020 Grammy Awards last week — approached her microphone in the center of the field. As she did for the Grammys, the “Anyone” singer wore a stunning white ensemble, this time a pantsuit instead of a gown, and nailed every note of the “Star Spangled Banner.” The packed stands of Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium roared their approval, and several of Lovato’s famous fans did the same — and made her a trending topic in the process –on social media following the performance.
Yessssss Demi !!! Nailed it. Congratulations.. #SuperBowl
