Dutch game-developer Streamline Studios and Black Hole Recordings — home to DJ Tiësto amongst others – have struck a new joint-venture which is billing itself as a one-stop shop for game developers and publishers offering comprehensive music and audio services.
“Streamline Sound is the new partner for independent artists who want to create audio for videogames,” said Black Hole Recordings artist and co-founder Tiësto.
“I wanted to help create a platform to not only put my own musical ideas into games but the music of innovative artists from all genres, whether electronic, classical, rock, or hip-hop.”
“Original game music soundtracks released on Streamline Records can put money back into the pocket of the publisher or developer who commissioned the work,” Alexander Fernandez, CEO of Streamline Studios, said.
Iwan de Kuijper, new media manager for Black Hole Recordings, will be the GM of Streamline Sound overseeing business matters.
