
Sting will be rocking the mic for the NBA’s All-Star 2016 halftime show. The 16-time Grammy Award winner is set to take his talents and extensive catalog to Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Sunday, Feb. 14.
Sting’s 20 Biggest Billboard Hot 100 Hits
Presented by JBL, the entertainment series will feature the former Police frontman performing a medley of his classic hits for the show, which will broadcast in more than 200 countries and territories as well as heard in 40 languages.
Some of his biggest Billboard Hot 100 hits include 1983’s “Every Breath You Take” and 1979’s “Roxanne.” British singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel will also join Sting as the two prep for their Rock Paper Scissors tour, starting June 21 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
Performing arts group Cirque du Soleil will provide the pre-game entertainment with a special performance blending acrobatics, dance and technology to tell the narrative of a basketball dream. The 2016 NBA All-Stars will be introduced following the production.
