For its second all-star Grammy salute, CBS will broadcast a two-hour concert dedicated to Stevie Wonder‘s Songs in the Key of Life on Feb. 16. Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich will executive produce the show being held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
“Stevie Wonder: Songs In The Key Of Life — An All-Star Grammy Salute” will feature Wonder and contemporary artists covering his songs as well as other archival material. Presenters will also help highlight the historical impact of Wonder’s songs on music and culture.
A winner of 25 Grammys, Wonder is the only artist to have received Album of the Year honors in three out of four consecutive years; with Innervisions (1973), Fulfillingness’ First Finale (1974) and Songs In The Key Of Life (1976).
The show will tape on Feb. 10. Last year’s special devoted to the 50th anniversary of the U.S. arrival of The Beatles was shot the day after the Grammys.
Tickets will go on sale Dec. 18.
