Steven Tyler is having the best weekend, from the looks of several videos uploaded over the past 24 hours: it seems the Aerosmith singer has been using his downtime between performances on the band’s world tour, which hit Helsinki last night, to exploring downtown streets, where he’s been joining and even taking over for several busking musicians in their roadside performances.

A fan posted the below video, which shows Tyler adding percussion to a fiddler’s jig yesterday afternoon (May 30) on Aleksanterinkatu, a central Helsinki street, ahead of Aerosmith’s performance at Hartwall Arena that night. Tyler posted a video to his Facebook page himself today, as well, in which he’s moved on to giving well-known local busker Fedor Grigorev‘s homemade glass-bottle xylophone a whirl. Not many Helsinkians stopped to watch the performances, but Tyler, who giggled throughout the latter performance, didn’t seem to mind. No word yet on whether he’ll be quitting his day job.
Aerosmith will continue its tour through mid-September, hitting Stockholm tomorrow night (June 1). Watch the fan-recorded video below, and check out Tyler’s bottle performance on his Facebook page.
