Stephen Colbert had some harsh words for Donald Trump after the president traveled to Helsinki, Finland to meet with Russian president Vladimir Putin early Monday.
“It’s really upset people across the partisan divide in ways that I have not seen in years,” Colbert said of Trump’s meeting.
He continued to reiterate that Trump’s behavior “unnerved a lot of people” including former CIA director John Brennan, who slammed Trump on Twitter for being “wholly in the pocket of Putin” and asked “Republican Patriots: Where are you?”

“That’s an excellent point,” Colbert said. “That’s worth asking. Where are they?” he continued, before showing a photograph of Putin with Devin Nunes, Mitch McConell, Mike Pence and Paul Ryan poking out of his pocket.
McCain also slammed Trump on Twitter arguing that “the damage inflicted by President Trump’s naiveté, egotism, false equivalence, and sympathy for autocrats is difficult to calculate.”
To further prove that statement, Colbert enlisted help from a calculator to assess the formula for Trump’s behavior during the summit. “Okay, egotism plus naivete times false equivalence equals … yeah, treason.”
