Starwalker has arrived to cure that case of the Mondays. Their debut album hits earbuds on April 1 (seriously though), and today, the opening track “Holidays” (and its adorable music video) premieres exclusively via Billboard Dance.
Comprised of influences from French electro-pop pioneer Jean-Benoit Dunckel (one-half of Air) and Icelandic composer Bardi Johannsson, the duo’s latest release from their forthcoming LP combines piano and techno tones for a lighthearted tune with a dancey take.

The music video stars a robot, finding its chill as it flies solo on the beach. While surfing and building epic sand castles are likely not on today’s to-do list for mere mortals, listening to “Holidays” should be at the top to mellow the impending workweek chaos.
“For some people, a holiday is going with lots of friends and having a crazy time. For others, they want to be alone,” said Johannsson. “The song is simple but there is always the chance it might have a double meaning. The robot in the video is so, so sweet. I am sure he will get some love letters from robogirls.”
