So, 2020 was a dirge. Next year is already looking up… there’s a new St. Vincent album on the way.
The alternative pop icon confirmed the news with a tweet. “The rumors are true. New record ‘locked and loaded’ for 2021. Can’t wait for you to hear it,” she wrote.

We’ve waited more than three years since Vincent’s sixth and most recent album Masseduction, which gave the American artist (real name Annie Clark) her first Top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at No. 10. Its title track scored a Grammy Award, her second, for best rock song.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma native won her first career Grammy for the 2014 effort St. Vincent, which took out best alternative music album.
Vincent has just been announced to the lineup for The Ally Coalition’s seventh annual Talent Show, a livestream event set to raise money for various LGBTQ youth programs around the country.
