The producers of the Broadway of production of “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” are considering a sixth delay of the musical’s opening night, according to the New York Times.
The play is due to open March 15, but the current production was ripped apart by critics.
The Times newspaper cited unnamed sources saying a delay is being considered which would move the opening day to as late as June to work on changes to the production. Composers Bono and the Edge of U2 are said to be writing new music for the show, which has also brought on Broadway music supervisor and conductor Paul Bogaev as a consultant.

But no official change in the opening has been made. An opening night performance and gala afterparty is still scheduled for March 15.
A spokesman for the production said: “Opening night remains scheduled for March 15.”
Sunday’s matinee of the production will be the 90th preview of the most expensive production in Broadway history. Most productions hold 30 previews.
