Ahead of the reissue of Soundgarden’s epic 1994 album “Superunkown,” the group will rock New York’s Webster Hall on June 2 to perform the album in its entirety.
Tickets for the special Soundgarden club show go on sale on May 21 at 10am ET only to Citi credit or debit card holders. The price is also a nod to the album’s 20th anniversary: each ticket is $19.94. Ticket purchasing information will be listed at citiprivatepass.com.
The Webster Hall show, which falls the night before the “Superunknown” reissue is released, marks only the second time the band has ever performed the classic album all the way through. Soundgarden’s first “Superunknown” performance was in March at SXSW, marking the 20th anniversary of the album’s original release.
Soungarden’s New York gig is just the start of a summer of heavy touring for the veteran rockers. They’ll head to Europe on June 7 and be back to the U.S. to begin a co-headlining tour with Nine Inch Nails that runs July 19 through August 30.
