Sony Music is reportedly the latest and last major label to sign a deal with Apple’s as-of-yet launched music streaming service dubbed “iRadio,” according to a report on All Things D.
Sony/ATV Signs With Apple iRadio, Launch Imminent
With a deal announced last week with Warner Music Group and UMG earlier in the month, the Sony partnership would mean Apple now has agreements in place with all three of the major labels just in time for its Worldwide Developer’s Conference on Monday (June 10) where Apple is expected to announce the new steaming platform.
A deal between Sony’s music publishing arm Sony/ATV and Apple has yet to be announced, which could delay iRadio’s launch.
Sony reps could not be reached for comment at press time.
