Sony BMG has released a rhythm-based game designed for the iPod called Musika, available via iTunes for $4.99.
The game taps into your music library while characters appear on the screen with a variety of visual effects. Users hit the middle iPod button if a letter on screen is also in the song title of the song playing. User can either play along or just watch the visual effects. As the song progresses, the game gets more difficult
The game was developed by NanaOn-Sha. The company’s president, Masaya Matsuura, created the first music rhythm game PaRappa the Rapper. He says he plans to created additional games for the iPod in the future.
