Solange Knowles Shares Clips for ‘Don’t Touch My Hair’ and ‘Cranes in the Sky’: Watch

Solange Knowles has shared the official videos for a pair of new songs, “Don’t Touch My Hair” (featuring Sampha) and “Cranes in the Sky”.

Knowles posted the new clips at her YouTube channel over the weekend. Both tracks appear on Knowles’ latest album A Seat at the Table, which dropped last Friday (Sept. 30) via Saint Records/Columbia and features guest spots from Lil Wayne, Kelly Rowland, Tweet, Q-Tip and others.

Both clips were co-directed by Solange (she also wrote, arranged, and co-produced each of the album’s 21 works) and her husband, the music video director Alan Ferguson. Solange is the star attraction in each clip as she loosens up with a crew of dancers in exotic locations. ”

Solange revealed plans for her long awaited third album ahead of release by mailing hardbound books containing poetry, photos and song lyrics to 86 lucky fans who signed up for her new Website. 

A Seat at the Table is her third full-length studio album, following 2008’s Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams. Her latest release was the 2012 EP True.
