Sky Ferreira will release her debut album, “I Will,” in 2014, according to an interview in British GQ.
Ferreira doesn’t address the delay, but the mag reports that she’ll have a new EP in September instead.
Instead, the wide-ranging interview addresses stealing from American Apparel (“I was in seventh grade”), working with Terry Richardson (“He’s just really nice”) and other subjects.
In April, Ferreira announced “It’s finished” in an Instagram photo of a CD-R labeled “Album Final.” The set was then known as “I’m Not Alright.” The album is expected to feature contributions from Jon Brion, Ariel Rechtshaid and Blake Mills.
The singer made a splash last year with “Everything is Embarrassing,” a single from her “Ghost” EP, in addition to high-profile modeling work for United Colors of Benetton, Calvin Klein and Forever 21.
