
On June 8, Skrillex, Chance The Rapper, and Hundred Waters all came together on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to perform their “Show Me Love” collab.
The diverse group first teased a collaboration in 2015, and later, the song closed out a Mija DJ set that was recorded but soon taken down. Skrillex’s free media platform NEST HQ recently unveiled a video that gives a behind the scenes look into the rehearsals as well as the history of the song.

The unique lyrics were initially compiled by Nicole Miglis as a reminder “not to blame anyone around me for something I was dealing with,” but as more artists got involved between recordings, choruses, and bridges, the song quickly evolved into a message of love.
Directed by Jon Brandon Cruz, the video documents each performer’s reaction to the added elements and demonstrates music’s power to bring people of all backgrounds together to create something beautiful. Check it out below:
