Skip Marley shared a video for his new song “Calm Down” on Tuesday (May 2), imparting some chill vibes on the world.
The Justin Francis-directed video comes after Marley released the track last week, following up on the success of his breakout single “Lions.”
In the clip, Marley — Bob Marley‘s grandson — performs on a beautiful beach, embodying a pacifist spirit through various actions such as cutting a heart in a chain link fence and planting rifles in the sand with roses placed in the barrels.
Speaking of the song, Marley said in a press release, “Music is my weapon of choice. I hope ‘Calm Down’ makes us think of solutions and brings us together.”
