After working with YG and Krayzie Bone on “Cash Money,” Brave Brothers‘ roster of U.S. collaborators grows by enlisting “Watch Me” singer Silento for a new East-meets-West collaboration.
The K-pop producer (who had a big domestic hit with AOA‘s “Heart Attack” last year) will see his first international collaboration of 2016 with “Spot Light,” a new collab between 14-year-old singer/rapper Punch and Silento. “Spot Light” recalls dance hits from the ’90s with the famous “Nae Nae” singer delivering an energetic hook.
Empire Film and Music Group is handling the project, led by entertainment executive Damuer H. Leffridge. The exec tells Billboard that a music video will be shot this month for the track. Last summer, Leffridge revealed to Billboard that there are more than two dozen Brave Bros.-produced titles coming in the next few years and that he plans to continue to connect South Korean acts with U.S. hip-hop and R&B artists.
Look out for “Spot Light” and its accompanying video to be revealed soon. Check out YG’s “Cash Money,” produced by Brave Brothers and originally premiered on Billboard, below:
