Shout Out Louds have returned with a chilly new single.
The Swedish band’s “Blue Ice” offers a challenge for fans: the track is being released as a 7″ literally made of ice. Only 10 will be released, coming as a kit including a mold and a bottle of water for freezing purposes. In order to listen to the scratchy results, owners will have to follow a detailed set of instructions the band has shared on YouTube (as seen above).
For those unwilling or unable to subject their turntables to an ice block, the indie-pop band’s made the laid-back track available digitally. The romantic, string-laden song marks the group’s first effort since 2010 album “Work.” Their follow-up will arrive in early 2013.
