Sheryl Crow teamed up with Kid Rock back in 2001 for “Picture,” but now, she’s giving him some advice on kindness.
Early on Friday (Aug. 9), Kid Rock shared a degrading opinion on Taylor Swift, writing that she “wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period.”
“And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there,” he continued. “Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.”
Crow replied to the tweet, encouragin him to “Spread love. Not hate. End of subject.”

The comment follow Swift’s Vogue cover story, where the songstress revealed that she was disappointed at herself for not making her political stance clearer. The comment came after she revealed that Todrick Hall asked her what she’d do if her son was gay. “If he was thinking that, I can’t imagine what my fans in the LGBTQ community might be thinking,” she told the publication. “It was kind of devastating to realize that I hadn’t been publicly clear about that.”
